Storybooks
Childhood Adventures, Set 1 (in Spanish with English translations) are six delightfully humorous, fully illustrated (B&W) stories that perfectly complement the topics taught in the Year 1 Sing ‘n Speak Spanish program. Any elementary Spanish teacher can also use them regardless of curriculum. Children love the funny illustrations and are thrilled when they understand a whole story in their newly developing language. With stories, children learn grammar easily and naturally.
It is challenging to find storybooks that are simple enough for beginning language learners that tell a story and are also entertaining. Watch how quickly your children will read these stories on their own – in Spanish – with perfect pronunciation and comprehension!
Although designed for elementary-age children, anyone learning Spanish can enjoy these stories, including children who are already at a higher level. Even native Spanish speakers enjoy reading them.
For Teachers or Parents, we have a 179 page 8 ½” x 11” spiral bound book that includes all six stories. Perfect for story time in the classroom or at home. Each illustration is in landscape orientation on a full page with all the words in large fonts. Includes an audio CD that narrates the stories in Spanish and in English and has English translations at the end.

For Students, we have a set of six separate 28 page storybooks (4 ¼” x 5 ½”) – perfect for young children’s hands! Includes an audio CD that narrates the stories in Spanish and in English and has English translations at the end.
